VICE PRESIDENT, FACILITY OPERATIONS (RETIRED)
Bob Janis started out as a custodial worker at DePaul 48 years ago, rising through the ranks to become vice president for Facility Operations, where he oversaw everything from food service, cleaning and engineering and more than $1.5 billion in campus improvement projects. Janis reached Double Demon status earning his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. He also received the Spirit of DePaul Award for his exemplary service.
