CELEBRATE WITH US ALL YEAR LONG
We’ve got some exciting things planned throughout the year. Learn about all the events happening on campus and in the community including guest speakers, conferences and celebrations.
To celebrate the official start to the new academic year, we invite faculty and staff to join us in welcoming new colleagues, honoring members of our community and supporting our mission to serve our students and community.
Join us for food, music and fun activities at the Welcome Back Celebration. This event is hosted on the Quad and open to DePaul faculty and staff.
Faculty and staff do not have to attend Convocation to participate in the Welcome Back Celebration.
The St. Vincent de Paul Feast Day invites DePaul colleagues, students and friends to pause, reflect and celebrate where we’ve been and where we’re going as a community, gathered together for the sake of a mission.
Our annual weekend-long celebration for students, families and alumni is filled with fun events and activities like a welcome brunch, Blue Demon Bash, trolley rides to Lincoln Park Zoo and more.
The DePaul community is invited to kick off the holiday season with our fifth annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in St. Vincent’s Circle on the Lincoln Park Campus. We’ll feature holiday-themed activities, snacks and caroling.
This event features the talented DePaul Community Chorus, Christmas at DePaul singers, guest soloists, the School of Music’s 40-piece orchestra, as well as staging and lighting from the Theatre School faculty.
Christmas at DePaul is a gift to the community with monetary or requested item donations for admission. Donations will support the St. Vincent de Paul Parish Food Pantry. Tickets are required for each performance.
Once a Blue Demon, always a Blue Demon. This Blue Demon Week, we’ll bring together students, faculty, staff and alumni to celebrate what it means to be a DePaul Blue Demon. Student organizations and departments from across the university will host events for the DePaul community.
The university community is invited to celebrate DePaul’s milestone anniversary on campus.
What started as part of DePaul’s Centennial celebration, has become an annual tradition with over 1,000 DePaul students, staff, faculty and alumni participating in a day of service in the Chicagoland area and cities around the country.
TEDxDePaulUniversity is independently organized through a license provided by TED, the idea-generating nonprofit organization. Now, in its seventh year, the DePaul event unites our community for idea-driven programming and promotes our faculty, staff, student and alumni thought leaders through the world-famous TEDx platform.
Faculty and staff are invited to gather together as we recognize their accomplishments and celebrate the end of the academic year.
