Carol Wren is associate professor emeritus and former associate dean of the College of Education. In 1984 she founded and directed Project Learning Strategies (PLuS), a first-of-its-kind comprehensive support program for students with learning disabilities. In 1985, she received a grant from the Fund for the Improvement of Post-Secondary Education to create an expanded program focused on new DePaul students with learning issues and those who suspect they have a learning disability.
