I love the statue of Monisgnor Egan in front of the LPC Student Center. The inscription -- "What are you doing for justice?" -- gives me focus. As faculty, we often describe our work in terms of teaching, research and service. But Egan reminds us that justice is ultimately the larger horizon to which all these things should point.
