DANNY CRUZ
HEAD CUSTODIAN, SCHMITT ACADEMIC CENTER
Custodian Danny Cruz is the life of the Lincoln Park Campus, especially around the library. He has a warm greeting for all he sees and offers words of encouragement to any who are feeling down. Over the years many have sought Danny out to thank him for his small or large impact on a particular aspect of their lives—he is a living, shining example of Vincentian personalism at DePaul. In honor of all he has done for the community, Cruz was presented with the Spirit of DePaul Award in 2007.
