David Booth is a former Blue Demon basketball great whose 1,933 career points are second only to Mark Aguirre. Following graduation from the College of Communication, he played professional basketball overseas for over 10 years before steadily advancing as an NBA executive, including director of player personnel for the New Orleans Pelicans and scout for the Memphis Grizzlies. He currently serves as the NBA’s vice president of basketball operations and was inducted into DePaul’s Hall of Fame in 2009.
