FRAN CASEY
DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY RELATIONS (RETIRED)
As director of community relations, Fran Casey was the face of DePaul to the university’s Lincoln Park and Loop neighbors for many years. Without her people skills and dedication, many of DePaul's relationships with community neighbors and businesses would not exist. She built institutional relationships by getting to know people individually—this was perhaps the most powerful way in which she lived the Vincentian mission. In 2019, in honor for her efforts, she was awarded the Via Sapientiae Award, the university’s highest honor for faculty and staff.
