Distinguished alumnus and Via Sapientae Award winner, Harold Welsch was among the university’s most loved and respected faculty members during a teaching career that spanned more than 50 years at DePaul. Welsch was the founder of the university’s nationally recognized Entrepreneurship Program and the Coleman Center, and is nationally and internationally known for his leadership, research and service.
