JOHN J. SULLIVAN
CLASS OF 1936
John J. Sullivan was a 1936 College of Law graduate and Blue Demon football star who went on to fight in World War II before leading a successful law career, including serving as president of the Chicago Bar Association. As president of the DePaul Alumni Association, he announced the decision by the association's board of governors to finance a much-needed on-campus site for DePaul's athletic, cultural and social programs, as well as a permanent home for its physical education department.
