CLASS OF 2013

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, VINCENTIAN SERVICE AND FORMATION OFFICE

As the Associate Director in DePaul’s Vincentian Service and Formation Office, Joyana Dvorak invites students to connect the Vincentian heritage to the story of their life. She is passionate about bringing to life the legacy of St. Vincent de Paul and St. Louise de Marillac to respond to the world's reality here and now. In 2015, Dvorak helped create Meet Me at the Mission, a peer-to-peer Vincentian leadership initiative for undergraduate students to share their Vincentian insights and inspiration with peers through workshops and events. As part of this program, she accompanies students on the annual Student Leader Vincentian Heritage Tour.
Every time I walk into the Student Center Monsignor Egan reminds me about the charge all of us at DePaul are called to answer: ‘What are you doing for justice?
