P.J. Byrne, an alum of The Theatre School, is an actor known for his film roles in "The Wolf of Wall Street" and "Babylon." He's also known for hit television series "Big Little Lies" and "The Legend of Korra," among others. Byrne has hosted The Theatre School Gala for multiple years, and in 1999 created an organization called Support Tomorrow's Rising Stars that raises funds to offset the costs of headshots, portfolios, travel and other expenses for theater school graduates starting a career in the arts.

'Viam sapientiae monstrabo tibi' or 'I will show you the way of wisdom' is the DePaul motto and they certainly did! Every time I open my mouth on camera or for a voiceover, I am indebted to the incredible training and wisdom I received at The Theatre School. Not only did they give me the skills I need to be professional actor, but they also imbued in me and my classmates an intense work ethic mixed with the idea of treating everyone with dignity and respect.
