PATRICIA BOMBARD, BVM

DIRECTOR, VINCENT ON LEADERSHIP: THE HAY PROJECT, COLLEGE OF LIBERAL ARTS AND SOCIAL SCIENCES

Patricia Bombard, BVM is a force for advancing DePaul’s Vincentian mission and values among students, faculty and the entire Vincentian community. She is the director of Vincent on Leadership: The Hay Project, which focuses on research, education and training inspired by the legacy of Saint Vincent de Paul. She’s also an adjunct faculty member at DePaul’s School of Public Service, teaching value-centered leadership, was involved in strategic planning to help the city and university address homelessness and housing insecure students and is a member of the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Dubuque, Iowa, USA.
St. Vincent's Circle on Lincoln Park campus is my favorite spot-on campus. The sculpture of Vincent talking with students shows that his legacy is still alive and well today; that his care for others and education is central to his legacy and mission.
