DICK MEISTER
FORMER EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT FOR ACADEMIC AFFAIRS
During his 24-year tenure at DePaul, Dick Meister served as executive vice president for academic affairs, dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and professor of history. While serving as dean, he led a team that transformed the Lincoln Park campus from being a commuter campus to a true residential one. Meister is also credited as having a significant impact in the reestablishment of the School of Education and the development of the honors and foreign study programs.
