CO-FOUNDER AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE INNER-CITY MUSLIM ACTION NETWORK (IMAN)
DePaul graduate Rami Nashashibi is a nationally known community organizer and activist. Nashashibi founded the Inner-City Muslim Action Network in 1997 to confront the challenges of poverty and disinvestment in urban communities with programs such as Green ReEntry, a holistic job training, housing, and community development program that centers returning citizens and justice involved youth. In 2017, the MacArthur Foundation named Nashashibi a MacArthur Fellow in recognition of his work.
